Strojírny a stavby Třinec, a.s. has developed a rotary saw for accurate cutting of refractory materials, stones and similar materials. For the cutting, an 800 mm diamond cutting disc MGT-f is used, allowing dry cutting of refractory material of a series of magnesite, chromium magnesite, dolomite and corundum, without the need of water cooling.

The M 800 rotary saw allows to cut refractory materials up to a maximum depth of 250 mm with the possibility of adjusting the angle of the cutting disc from 00 to 450. The machine is equipped with its own bench with a solid backstop and, if required, the bench may be equipped with a magnetic board to allow faster attachment of minor refractory form blocks by using a special application. The machine is controlled with two control panels using buttons. The machine drive is electrical with the possibility to adjust revolutions.
Each machine movement is hydraulic. The pressure liquid is supplied by a lamellar hydrogenator with control for constant pressure driven by an electric motor. The saw is equipped with a high-performance exhaust device, eliminating excessive dust when cutting.
