CALIBRATED ROLLS
Manufacturing and renovation of metalurgical drums for hot rolling has a multi-year tradition. Calibration of rolls is performed by standard piercing by the use of shape cutters or at CNC lathes. The max. weight of an unfinished workpiece is 40 t, length is 6,500 mm and diameter is 1,600 mm. We machine steel-alloyed rolls, grey-alloyed rolls, rolls from formable alloy, forged rolls and from SK materials. We produce rolls as final products, incl. Calibration and completion works, e.g. milling of interaction grooves and areas, grinding of pins.
We renovate worn rolls by re-turning or welding, incl. the welding of calibrated rolls.
PILGER ROLLS
Our company has long-term experience producing travelling rolls, appropriate for travelling benches of tube rolling mills. The recommended material for the production of these rolls is alloyed steel, in particular under the V75Mo or V115CrW designation. The hardness of travelling rolls is often within the range from 270 HB to 340 HB. Travelling rolls are supplied with machine housing and pins with pre-casted calibre, free of final calibre machining. The max. diameter of a travelling roll is 900 mm. Higher than that is possible only after agreement. The technical design and method of execution depends on the requirements and wishes of the customer..
